Lucy Hinova, LMT, AOBTA
Certified Shiatsu Practitioner
Lucy Hinova is a certified Shiatsu practitioner with a deep respect for the body’s natural intelligence and capacity for healing. She blends her training in Zen Shiatsu, Table Thai
Shiatsu, Hado Shiatsu, Integrative Abdominal Massage, and Sports Massage with ongoing study in Craniosacral Therapy to create treatments that are both grounding and
restorative.
Her professional journey includes experience in office management, bookkeeping, and caregiving, all of which have strengthened her organizational skills, attentiveness, and
sensitivity to the needs of others. These experiences inform her work as a therapist, allowing her to hold a calm, supportive space where clients can relax, release tension,
and restore balance.
Lucy’s approach combines structural awareness with energetic sensitivity. She works with chronic tension, fatigue, and emotional holding patterns, tailoring each session to
the individual using meridian-based Shiatsu, Hara assessment, and Five Element principles. Her goal is to create a steady, respectful environment that supports the body’s natural ability to regulate and heal, helping a spectrum of conditions including:
• Anxiety
• Depression
• Arthritic joints
• Musculoskeletal pain and tension
• Digestive issues
• Insomnia
When she’s not working with clients, Lucy enjoys spending time with her family around a bonfire, cooking with her husband, being in nature, meditating, and reading —
practices that keep her grounded and present for her clients.
