Dr. Amy Iaquinta, is Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner with a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine and has been treating patients for 25 years. Prior to moving to the Chicago area, Dr. Amy operated a successful chiropractic practice in Hilton Head, South Carolina for many years.
Dr. Amy’s desire to provide the most cutting-edge care to patients after seeing their need for help with chronic conditions, nutrition and weight loss led her to incorporate the emerging science of functional medicine into her practice. Functional medicine addresses the underlying causes of disease, using a systems-oriented approach and engaging both the patient and the practitioner in a therapeutic partnership. Dr. Amy is among a select few doctors certified in the Chicago area to provide this care to patients.
Using her blueprint has allowed countless people to identify root causes of their discomfort. Dr. Amy’s specializes in creating customized plans based on each patient’s needs and goals. She is well-versed in a variety of lab testing procedures and employs different avenues of care to address some of the essential keys to resolving the underlying stressors that lead to the breakdown of health, including focus on the nervous system, endocrine system, detoxification, nutrition, fitness and mindset strategies.

In addition to specific, customized therapeutic plans, she helps her patients harness simple self-care practices, and changes of habit enabling them to get the desired results and thus feel better and improve their health.

Dr. Amy has a tremendous heart for service and compassion care and has participated in service programs and mission trips overseas including a trip to Moldova where she provided care to several thousand patients. She currently lives in Glenview, Illinois with her two children.
